Comparing numbers from 10 years ago in 2004 through to October 2014, The National Association of REALTORS® on its Economists’ Outlook blog used this data to acquire the following facts:
*The number of homes sold in October 2014 is higher than the 10 year October average especially in the Midwest and South(yeah Florida).
*The median home price for October 2014 is higher than the 10 year average(except in the Northeast).
*Inventory is lower for October 2014 compared to the 10 year average.
