Indialantic is situated on the barrier island between the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. The first visions for development of the area came in 1915 when a Melbourne resident bought one square mile of property to build a beachside resort. The only way to visit these illustrious strip of land was by boat so Ernest Kouwen-Hoven started raising money to fund the bridge. Anyone who purchased a $100 bond would have the opportunity to buy a lot for $20. The wooden bridge was completed in 1921. To read the whole story, visit Town of Indialantic.
This pre-construction property has views of some of the most exquisite beaches along the east coast.
